At a first glance, you might think the writer forgot today was Tuesday, not Thursday. Or maybe he just doesn’t know what makes a flag good anymore.
My answer to those theories: WRONG.
Sure, this flag is bad, with writing and a seal and even the state’s full name on it, but it’s not what’s on the front, it’s what’s on the back…
That’s right, Oregon is the only US State to have a different design on the back of the flag than on the front.
Already this gets points for meaningful symbolism and uniquity. But now, as I am writing this, I am in favor of switching the whole state flag to just this image of a beaver. What do you think of that proposal, Oregon governor Tina Kotek?

interesting that the front and back are different. I think I like both the front and the back of the Oregon flag. Now, if there is to be only one design, I’d go with the beaver, too!!
