Good Flag: Bavaria, Germany

When I see this flag, I can’t help but think of the Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.”

This flag is actually very good. It’s like the Indy 500 checkered flag but at a different angle and recolored. I can see why the Germans chose this rhombus flag (with 22 diamonds, methinks),in order to OB-viously highlight their Bavarian Cream Donuts. Though said donuts look brown (and yellow on the inside), so I do not know why they’d say they are blue, though either the flag creator may have been colorblind, or he liked Bavarian Creamed Donuts covered with blue food coloring.

Oh, and for those of you who think this flag is seizure-inducing, they use a more simple (if not boring) alternate flag called the Streifenflagge (striped flag).

Looks familiar…
