This is not an old California state flag, this is from when they were a country. And while it is a digital reproduction, that still doesn’t dismiss the blandness of the flag…

First, we have the bear and the star be about the same size as each other, and that is HIGHLY disproportionate.

Then, we have that ugly shade of red at the bottom, and that sentence sums up my distaste for that maroon.

And finally, when I saw that weird period next to “CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC”, I though of typing, “WoW, i DiDn’T kNoW tHaT tHe CaLiFoRnIa RePuBliC wAs ThE oNlY cOuNtRy To hAvE pUnCtUaTiOn In iTs NaMe!!!!!!!11!1!1!1!!“
