Hello ladies, gentlemen, and vexillologists, I have something to talk to you about. This isn’t your regular, run-of-the-mill flag post. This is not a test.

I think it’s time for growth.

I mean, there’s a whole world to explore out there. Why should we limit ourselves to just flags?

Starting today (Tuesday, July 1, 2025), I will change the focus of the blog into something I feel is enjoyable for both you and me.

So what changes am I going to be making?

Well, theconversation.com says that humans, or the Homo Sapiens species, appeared around 300,000 years ago.

Take a moment to ponder this. That’s around 302,025 years of human history. And in those 302,025 years, there have been some GIANT moments. Inventions, wars, countries, births, deaths, trends, words, technology, you name it, it’s in there.

But in those years, there have likely been some moments of strange, unusual, and downright funny occurrences along the way that seem made-up but turn out to be real.

And those things are entertaining to read, so why not shed light on some of them?
