Usually, the things that come from the sky aren’t really unusual. Sure, there is rain, and at times hail and lightning, but what would you do if it started to rain meat?
You see, from 11 AM to 12 PM on March 3, 1876, in northeast Kentucky, an unusual sight was perceived. Mrs. Crouch, a farmer’s wife of Bath County, reported seeing a piece of meat fall from the sky while she was making soap 40 steps from her house. The meat fell for an hour before it ended at noon. The residents were bewildered and wondered how this could’ve happened!
The mystery went unsolved until someone examined the small meat pieces closely and noticed they were…well…unknown. They may have been lamb or deer, but no one really knows. They don’t even know for sure how it happened! For some reason, the locals chose the explanation that it was really buzzard puke (I wonder why…), with an explanation reading that one buzzard threw up and the rest, “who, as is their custom, seeing one of their companions disgorge himself, immediately followed suit.”
Like I said, no one really knows for sure what it is and what caused it, but it is an interesting phenomenon! Just know that when you’re chilling outside and see a chunk of meat hit the ground, don’t eat it!

Wait I’m NOT supposed to eat that?
