Bad Flag: French Southern And Antarctic Lands

So this territory is a place not many people know, and I will give you a short history about the place.

In the 16th century, the many islands of this archipelago were discovered by a few European explorers; the Spanish, Dutch, and French. Nowadays it is one of the handful of French territories, located in the Southern Indian Ocean.

Anyways, the flag is actually kinda okay! I mean, I know it was marked as a ‘bad flag’, but that’s just because of the text in the bottom right corner. I guess putting the letters F, S, both As, and L were a stretch so they decided to limit it to F, A, and A (which I guess would make their name ‘French And Antarctic’). The problem with that is that you could confuse it with organizations like:

So, I guess the flag designer could either change it so that it shows all five letters on the flag, or just get rid of the thing altogether. But since the area has no permanent residents, the flag is bound to stay that way.

I mean, unless one of the penguins knows how to design a flag.
