Yes, Côte d’Ivoire has an unoriginal flag design, which makes these two flags confusable, up to the point where Wikipedia has to say on the Côte d’Ivoire flag article,

“Ulster loyalists have sometimes desecrated (to treat a sacred place or thing, like a flag with violent disrespect) the Ivorian flag, mistaking it for the Irish one.”

But hey, at least you’re not Chad and/or Romania.
