Zaire was, as you could tell from the title, the DRC from 1971 to 1997, and it’s flag is honestly very cool.
In the middle, you can see a hand holding an ablaze torch, and that is a big plus for any flag. The colors are very pleasing as well. The sad truth is that the Olympics were never held in Zaire (or frankly, any African country)…
Spare Your Disbelief 
That is a great flag. I would like to run it up the Fun flagpole. People with a lot of money, should donate it to one of the African countries so they could host an Olympics

This really does seem more like an Olympic flag vs a country flag. I would improve the flag with a graphic flaming torch. I do like the green!!
